Tagametsa Hunting Lodge and Camping Centre is located in the village of Rassi in Türi rural municipality in Järva County in central Estonia. It is situated in the middle of old-growth forests and on the shore of the beautiful River Saarjõgi.

The main building of the campground is a hunting castle renovated in 2005. There are beds for 10 people, but it can accommodate a total of 30. The kitchen has everything necessary for making food. There is also a large camping area for organising camps and a sauna by the river, where it is possible to swim. Additionally, it is possible to carry out meetings and smaller seminars there.

The Tagametsa season lasts from 1 May to 15 October and the complex price is determined after the booking is submitted.

Getting there

When coming from Türi, turn onto Rakvere-Pärnu highway in Särevere and drive until 'Parasi' bus stop. There, you will see a signpost for Põikva and Rassi. Drive for 16 km until 'Rassi' bus stop, where you can start following the signposts to a place called Kodumetsa. When coming from Suure-Jaani, take the Mudiste-Suure-Jaani-Vändra road to Põhjaka. There, turn right and drive until the Tõrvaaugu intersection, where you must turn left. From there, continue until 'Rassi' bus stop, where you can start following the signposts to a place called Kodumetsa.
