We invite you and your friends to Võrumaa to enjoy a traditional Estonian smoke sauna. A smoke sauna used to be an inseperable part of every farmhouse. Smoke saunas have been used as a place for physical cleansing; but it has historically also been known as a place having curing properties and for smoking ham. Nowadays, smoke saunas have lost their role as a place for living, giving birth or dying. The unforgettable characteristics of a smoke sauna include a low ceiling, a low doorway, lack of chimney and a light scent of smoke. In addition to the smoke sauna you can use a hot tub, and you can enjoy these pleasures all night, if you wish.
