Tallinn Airport will not make checks stricter

29. December 2009

Tallinn Airport does not plan to make security measures more rigorous in connection with the bombing occurrence which took place on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.

Representatives from the airport said that their security measures have not been increased. Also, not a single direct flight travels from Tallinn to the US. Passengers headed to the US have had to go through several security checks in European airports elsewhere and less hand luggage than usual may be taken into the airplane.
