The green and colourful flora hub in Pirita district celebrates its 51st birthday on December 1 by offering half price entrance for everyone (including monthly and yearly tickets, excluding combined ticket with Tallinn TV Tower).
Inspite the dark winter time the Tallinn Botanic Garden’s spirited tropical house surprises visitors with late bloomers such as Arabic coffee tree (Coffea arabica), Chinese banana (Musa acuminata), pineapple (Ananas comosus) and papaya (Carica papaya).
Over 63 760 people have visited the botanical gardens this year, an all time record.
Note! Tallinn Botanic Gardens are closed on December 24 and 25, but open on December 31 and January 1 as usual.
