Participants and visitors of the festival are given the opportunity to discover and experience not only the tangible effects of light , but also light on physiological level.
During the one-month-long light festival in Tartu, Estonia, the following events will take place: hackathon, 3 architectural lighting design workshops, 6 site-specific interactive light installations, exhibitions, conference, light fair and gala.
The festival will be opened to the public on Friday, October 21 and the opening events will run the entire weekend till October 23, 2016. In addition, there is a sideprogram featuring different activities and events (e.g. theatre to cinema, concerts, everything that has to do with light, activities based on citizen initiatives, etc.) lasting from October 13 to November 13, 2016.
