One of the branches of Tallinn City Museum, the Photography Museum, introduces one of the most contemporary forms of art – photography.

The Photography Museum is located behind the Tallinn Town Hall in the Town Jail that dates back to the 15th century. Here, you can examine the 150-year-old history of photography in Tallinn. The interesting exhibits include numerous photos of the capital, a collection of old-fashioned cameras and a darkroom from the beginning of the 20th century.

Exhibitions and events take place in the Photography Basement, Photography Attic, and in the summer, in the Photography Yard.
