See photos (6) Türisalu limestone cliff is one of the most impressive natural features on the limestone coast of Northern Estonian and towers up to 31 metres. The Türisalu limestone cliff platform with its romantic sea view and easy access is a popular destination among Tallinn residents. The high vantage point affords a breathtaking view of the sea and Vääna-Jõesuu beach.
During a windy day, you can enjoy the view without even leaving your car. If you would like to get closer to waves, then you should use a trail that descends along the cliff. Trails go in both directions from the platform so you go east, or to the right, where you can see the wonderful limestone cliff from below.
Drive for about 35 km from Tallinn along Rannamõisa Road. After Vääna-Jõesuu and Naage, the road climbs upward and takes you quite near Türisalu cliff. There is also a car park and some smaller areas for parking cars near the cliff.
