The most valuable features of the Elva-Vitipalu Landscape Protection Area are its diverse terrain, the sand outcrop of the valley of the Elva River and the flooded meadows preserved and restored on the valley flat. The most valuable features of Vapramägi Hill and its surroundings are the diverse terrain of Vapramägi Hill, which is great for hiking and skiing, one of the smallest strongholds in Estonia – Kerikmägi, Jaagupi fenced burial mound, Elva River, folk tales and legends about Kalevipoeg and how Vapremäe Hill was created, old cultural traditions and water mills.
