The legendary Volga Restaurant is situated in the old town of Tartu, in a Classicist building constructed in 1783. The interior design of the restaurant rooms restored in 2007 follows the Art Deco style of the 1920s and 30s, when the place was a favourite café of high society. The room is embellished with bright decorations restored by artist Aren on the basis of old photographs, and a beautiful vitrage ceiling is high above the dance floor. The à la carte menu of Volga, called “From Athena to Volga”, is in harmony with the service and atmosphere and offers a memorable experience for each visitor. The rooms located on two levels can house up to 130 visitors.
