The annual skateboarding and BMX contest Simple Session, taking place this weekend in Tallinn, Estonia,
will for the first time be available to watch in full HD quality webcast and Xbox Live.
Simple Session (16-17.03) has been around for 13 years, celebrating everything that is amazing about BMX and skateboarding. It has become a world renowned highlight of the World’s BMX and skateboarding contest calendar, reaching a global audience through its massive media coverage and with it’s record-breaking LIVE webcast making it one of the most watched action sport events in the World.
Simple Session LIVE webcast, featuring a live scoring system will this year for the first time be broadcast through web in FULL HD quality. The LIVE webcast will be available on session.ee/live and Extreme.com and throughout the contests to the award ceremony, starting on March 16th at 09:30 CET. The webcast is freely embeddale to be streamed on all interested sites and Facebook, the code is available the usual way. The webcast can also be streamed on mobile devices!
Extreme Sports Channel is to live stream the BMX Finals of Simple Session also on the Xbox 360 on March 17th. This will be the first live streamed event on Xbox Live in the EMEA region to feature audience engagement and polling results integrated right in the programme.
Being one of the most international action sports events in the World, the contest will be hosting around 200 top athletes from 30 countries across the world at Saku Arena, Tallinn, with an impressive line-up of the most established riders in the business as well as new talents and up-and-coming top riders in the disciplines of BMX and skateboarding street/park. Simple Session is one of the few pro events to welcome female riders as well, introducing a girls BMX contest Sister Session last year.
Television shows of Simple Session 13 will later this spring air on Europe's largest sports TV channel Extreme Channel.
