Wile Alpaca Farm

Wile Farm in Järva County raises alpacas; they come from South America and are wonderfully sweet and soft. Alpacas are herd animals with a curious and gentle nature. At the moment, the farm has 21 alpacas in various colours. Wile, the alpaca who gave its name to the farm, was born on 12 May 2014.

Alpaca wool is glossy, silky, soft and luxurious; it is a lot warmer than sheep's wool, does not prickle, contain lanolin or cause allergic reactions. Every animal gives about 2.2 to 4.5 kg of wool.

You can visit the alpaca farm, pet the animals, and learn about wool and woollen products in the wool room of the farm, as well as purchase alpaca wool items.
