Winter Wake International wakeboarding competition

Winter Wake is and international indoor wakeboarding competition which is organized by NGO AK Spordiklubi Rahinge. Event will take place on February 23rd in Tartu, Estonia.

Wakeboard competition will be carried out in Aura Keskus. Aura Keskus is a leisure sport center with specially adjusted pool to host this unique event. This kind of distinctive event has not yet been held in the Northern Europe ever before.
Wakeboarding is a special water sport which involves riding wakeboard over the surface of a body of water. It was developed from a combination of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing techniques.
Wakeboard riders are usually towed behind a motorboat, indoors cable systems are used for towing. Obstacle set for this competition is a two-sided kicker and a slider.
 40 best riders from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Poland will demonstrate their wakeboarding skills. Competition will be held in two classes - women and men. The level of the competition will be high so we will be seeing some amazing tricks during the sessions.
Winter Wake will be amusing event to spectators to watch and it’s all free.
