This route introduces hikers to sights worth seeing in the southern part of Tartu County. Starting from Tartu, you will soon reach the agricultural museum in Ülenurme and the manor park. From the Uhti crossroad, head to the gravel roads, which run between the fields and later in the forests where animals can often be spotted.
Along the beautiful avenue you will reach the Luke Manor Park which is in great condition. From here to Tamsa and Pangodi, there are many scenic views. The circle around Pangodi Lake is one of the most beautiful parts of this route. From Pangodi, a gravel road leads to the lovely Kambja borough (church, lake, War of Independence monument), from there through Suure-Kambja to the Tartu-Põlva highway and back to Tartu via Aardlapalu. Along the way, you will pass by the magnificent Aviation Museum and the modern Lange Motocentre.
Almost half of the route runs on gravel roads, the rest along relatively smooth paved roads and the first 10 kilometres on cycling paths.
We recommend starting the trip from Tartu, Pangodi, Kambja or Reola. There are a number of railway stations near the route (Tartu, Elva, Ülenurme, Vana-Kuuste).
