A virtual tour of historical Tartu with an audio guide ‘VR Tartu 1913’

REQUEST INFORMATION View on map

The virtual tour 'VR Tartu 1913' takes visitors on a journey to the centre of Tartu a century ago. Physically, the journey will take you to four viewpoints on both sides of the Arch Bridge. Virtually, you will visit the historic banks of the Emajõgi River and see the symbols of the city – the Town Hall, the Kivisild Bridge, the barge port, the magnificent hotels Bellevue and Jakor, and other buildings.

History comes to life! The immediate, engaging, fact-based, and emotional experience makes history colourful, spatial, and makes you feel like it is happening here and now.

Audio in Estonian, English, German, Russian, Finnish, French, Latvian, and Lithuanian.
