An orchid hike on Osmussaar

An orchid hike on Osmussaar

DIRHAMI SADAM, Dirhami küla / Derhamn, Lääne-Nigula vald, Lääne maakond

Osmussaar is renowned for its history, diverse landscape, and unique natural communities.

This hike, led by Sirje Azarov, a biologist and member of the Estonian Club for the Protection of Orchids, shows a range of fascinating plants. We will learn to recognise different medicinal herbs and use them in our daily lives. Our main goal is to see a variety of orchids and learn to distinguish between them.

The trip starts and ends at the Port of Dirham and lasts for about six hours.
The price includes a nature hike, transport by sea, and travel arrangements.
You can pack a sandwich or a few to go.
Additional information about the hike is available on our website!
