Café Maiasmokk

Pikk tänav 16, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn

In the same location since 1864, Maiasmokk is the oldest operating café anywhere in Tallinn and Estonia. The café is unique due to its interior, which has remained unchanged for almost a century.

In this cosy café, you can enjoy fresh pastries, pies, cakes, and delicious handmade candies. On the first floor of the café, you'll find a restaurant that serves delectable and novel Estonian meals.

There's also a marzipan museum next to the café, which provides a fascinating overview of the history of the treat. There is always a food artist in the museum, decorating marzipan figures, and they will often take visitors' requests!
