Café Nikolai Lehtla is a cosy place to relax.
We offer hearty food and drinks which are affordable for czars, presidents, prime ministers, and, of course, regular citizens. During the day, families with children are also welcome, as we have a children's menu and a playground.
Legend has it that the café is located on the site of a gazebo belonging to Czar Nicholas II where he would sip his beer on hot summer days. Nicholas II is reported to have been a pleasant man, and we, too, hold him in high esteem – not as a ruler, but as someone who appreciated good food and drink.

Sunday lunch with kids!

We wanted to sit outside but they refused to serve us there in September. Ok, we gave our order in the bar and pre-paid and all was fine. We were warm and safe from germs outside with the heaters on...

Slow service, tasty average food

Visited during evening, the restaurant was not that crowded and we had to wait to get the menus so long we went to pick them up ourselves. Cheap eats, basic food, not very exciting. Pelmenis were ok...
