Cultural-historical pilgrimage through Estonia

Merivälja tee 18, Pirita linnaosa, Tallinn

View on map

About 500 km cultural-historical pilgrimage begins at the Pirita Convent named after St Birgitta and ends at the Chapel of Vana-Vastseliina Castle, which was the destination of pilgrims already in the Middle Ages.

Besides the joy of hiking and experiencing nature offered by other hiking routes in Estonia, the pilgrimage also provides believers with places of prayer. Travellers are introduced to the history and culture of our homeland, the stories of how Estonians developed their nationhood. The journey confirms the continuity of time and space. Stories about the places en route and people connected with them, information about accommodation, map apps and much more is available on our homepage.
