The Draakoni Gallery was founded in April 1983. In the first years, the gallery focused on exhibiting the works by members of the Graphic Artists Society. After the cessation of its exhibition activities, the gallery continued as a sales outlet for paintings, graphic art and applied art. As of 2003, the gallery has resumed the exhibition of works by Estonian and foreign artists, joined several art education programmes and dealt with the sale of artwork, focusing primarily on modern Estonian painting, graphic art and photography.
