See photos (5) The Ebavere nature and hiking trail is situated on Ebavere nature reserve 3 km outside of Väike-Maarja heading towards Tartu. The trail is 5 km long, but you can also cover 3 km or 4 km sections of the trail.
It begins by the car park at the Ebavere Sports Centre. It then climbs to the top of one hill before heading south and winding its way around Ebavere hill. There are information boards along the trail providing information on the plants and animals that call the Ebavere forest home.
Did you know...? Ebavere is a site at which the ancient Estonians prayed to wooden effigies of the gods and brought sacrificial offerings
The hiking trails are located on the Ebavere nature reserve 3 km from Väike-Maarja in the direction of Tartu.
