Estonian Children's Literature Centre is located in a fairy-tale building in the Old Town Tallinn and it is a home to children's books.
The centre holds a library, Edgar Valter Gallery, illustration galleries, a treasury introducing the history of Estonian children's literature, and a fairytale attic dedicated to the mascot of the centre, Bumpy. The oldest children's book in Estonian is from 1815. The exciting world of books is introduced to children, young people, parents, and everyone else who is interested.
The aim of the centre is to develop, collect, preserve, research, and mediate Estonian children's literature for educational, scientific, and experiential purposes.

The light yellow building of the centre stands at the sea-side end of Pikk tänav, opposite of Coastal Gate and Fat Margaret, next to the Three Sisters Hotel. A sign depicting our mascot Bumpy hangs above the entrance. The centre is about 5 to 10 minutes on foot from the Town Hall Square.
