See photos (4) You are welcome to the Murimäe Winery, located between the hills of Otepää, Valga County. Here you can get an overview of Estonian viticulture, cultivated varieties, maintenance work in the vineyard throughout the year, and plant protection.
During the workshop we will talk about the basics of establishing a vineyard, planting, suitable varieties, and spring pruning. The first part of the course is theoretical and includes tasting Estonian wines and in the second part the knowledge obtained in the winery is put to practice.
Good to know: You can also buy vine seedlings and winery products on site.

When driving from Otepää towards Kanepi, turn left towards Truuta after 7.5km. Drive another 5km and you will see the Murimäe sign on your left. When coming from Valga, turn right onto Sihva–Vidrike–Kärgula–Järvere / road nr 140, where you will see the sign for Otepää 6km. Drive along the gravel road until you see the sign 'Murimäe Veinikelder'. From there, turn left and drive for about a kilometre until you see the sign again. Turn right.
