Exhibition ’Riik ei ole kunstiteos’ (’A country is not a piece of art’)

’Riik ei ole kunstiteos’ (’A country is not a piece of art’), an exhibition curated by Katerina Gregos, explores on what a modern country is built. The 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia seems like the perfect time to discuss what is crucial in the future of European countries and the stability of our unions – the discussion, however, must be careful and critical and offer a number of different perspectives.
The exhibition fills all surfaces of the Tallinn Art Hall and extends into the city space. The exhibition is complemented by an extensive program in Estonian, English, and Russian: debates, tours, and special events, which help to bring the exhibition to enthusiasts of modern art, politics, economics, and history.
