Dutch FAM trip 8 - 11/12.06.2023
Visit Estonia is delighted to greet You in Estonia - a small country that calls out to culture scouts, natural nomads and flavour seekers! A place where the social influencers are centuries old, where attitudes merge a Nordic mindset with medieval mystery, where the fast food comes as fast as it grows and where fewer crowds lead you to deeper conversations!
This time we embark on a journey to get a glimpse of Tallinn, the capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site and after that, heading to the charming islands, where time runs in a very different pace, making relaxation easy! Along the way, we taste some Estonian goodies, get active and immerse ourselves into the great outdoors as nature is a huge part of Estonia's everyday life.
Below you will find your program. We set out to introduce the diverse sides to Estonia during these 3+ days and hope that you will enjoy the variety.
We offer you an Air Baltic flight from Amsterdam - the individual schedules you will find below.

Your program:
Day 1, June 8th – Thursday, afternoon in Tallinn
13:15 flight arrival in Tallinn airport (from Ams, 14:05 from Bru)
Visit Estonia representative welcoming the group
15 min bus transfer to the city centre
14:45 late lunch in a restaurant in Rotermann district, Pull
16.00 Afternoon 2 hrs guided tour in Tallinn, walking tour in old town
PS Your luggage will be at the bus!
After the walking tour, check in the hotel, settling in
20.00 Dinner in old town, restaurant 38
Overnight in Metropol Spa hotel in Tallinn. Please bring your swimwear – the hotel has a spa and pool area!
Day 2, June 9th - Friday – island life
Breakfast at hotel
Get ready for an active day: a boat trip, a small island exploration and a lunch outdoors;
Please be checked out, your luggage into the bus and hiking shoes or sneakers ready at hand! We recommend to grab a windproof jacket, too. To dress is layers is always a good idea.
11.00 Departure from hotel
Visit to Prangli island, off the coast of Tallinn. There is a total of 2222 islands in Estonia and we will take the chance to visit one of the closest ones to the capital.
By the evening, back to Tallinn;
19.00 Check-in to Hektor Container Hotel- sustainable and modern in the heart of Telliskivi creative city.
20.00 Dinner in Telliskivi area
Option to get some Estonian gin and tonics in Junimperium – the Gin producer's bar in the area.
Day 3, June 10th - Saturday- Tallinn as seaside city
Breakfast at hotel
Check-out
10.00 Depart from hotel to get a glimpse of the traditional rural lifestyle of Estonia, we will visit the Open Air Museum, located in the outskirts of Tallinn, a 20min drive from the centre.
13.00 Lunch in Lore bistro, MICHELIN 2023 Bib Gourmand, in seaside area
After lunch, the discovery continues by bikes along the Tallinn's seaside, in Noblessner and Kadriorg districts.
16.30 Check-in to hotel L`Embitu- in a more quiet part of city centre.
19.00 Dinner in Tuljak, newly awarded 2023 MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, with seaside view
Overnight in Tallinn
Day 4, June 11th - Sunday
05:30 bus transfer to the airport, 15min, first five participants leave
by 07:35 air Baltic flight to Amsterdam
NB! .... for the rest of you who dwell longer – we can offer an extra day either with a short guided tour or exploring on one's own, with a Tallinn Card, that enables entrance to different museums and also public transport.
Vol2 departures for 3: 14:30 and 15:20 (transfer to the airport at around 12:30)
NB! Kindly pack either hiking shoes or your more rugged sneakers suited to make a light hike. Also, with Nordic weather a waterproof jacket as a spare is always a good idea! Most hotels in Tallinn have wellness areas - swimwear is recommended to take.
