Guided tour ‘Three plagues of God – wars, fires, and disease in the history of Pärnu’


The regulations of the citizens of medieval Pärnu stated that 'everyone should look after their fire before trouble arises'. Fire was the biggest scourge of the city, destroying and changing the cityscape of Pärnu repeatedly. Military action and diseases also contributed to the history of the city and the emergence of street names.
The tour takes you on an exciting journey full of stories from distant and recent history, telling the stories of wars, fires, and plague.

The tour lasts about 1.5 hours.
