See photos (4) A sauna ritual cleanses the body both inside and out!
After sweating in the sauna, the body is washed and exfoliated directly on the sauna bench with mixtures suitable for the skin type. This is followed by kneipping – pouring cool water over the body, and a short break with a refreshing and cleansing drink.
The second steam session is accompanied by a real whisking ritual: as you lay down on the sauna bench, the sauna lady rubs your body with honey and whisks you properly, using various techniques and uttering the rose spell. In this way, all kinds of stress and illness were cured right out of you in olden times.
To finish the sauna ritual, the body can be moisturised with herbal oils.
