Hollywood Hill in Tartu County
A group of friends who, having dined in the diner on the hill next to Laeva village when driving from Tallinn to Tartu, decided to do something fun and erect a unique monument on the hill. They made the letters in an empty apartment in an officers’ campus from fence rails. They towed the letters up the hill on a trailer and they mounted them to their places. All of this took place in 1996. However, they did not expect the sign to last this long and to gain such popularity. The place has become popular sight among passers-by for taking pictures there.
