See photos (7) Karula cycling trail offers you the opportunity to go for a ride in beautiful nature. The 50 km track runs over the hilly landscape of Karula and covers several exciting forest paths.
The start of the trail is at the foot of Tellingumäe at the Cycling Trail campfire site (Rattaradade lõkkekoht) and the trail partially overlaps the Taheva cycling trail. The trail also passes the Oore camping area, where there are forest huts for hikers. There is room for 40 tents.
At the 53rd kilometre of Võru–Valga highway (road no. 67), about 1.5 km after the settlement of Hargla, turn left (sign 'Taheva Sanatoorium'). Drive 1.4 km and turn left again. After 1 km, drive straight from the asphalt road to a narrow gravel road (sign 'Tellingumäe vaatetorn') and after 1 km, you will arrive at the beginning of the cycling trail.
