Kau Manor

Kau Manor was first mentioned in the Danish Valuation Book in 1241, when a medieval vassal fortress was built. The classicist appearance of the complex-shaped main building of the manor, which has survived to this day thanks to reconstruction, dates back to the 18th century.

Kau Manor was home to the world-famous explorer and navigator Otto von Kotzebue. The interior design of the main building is inspired by Kotzebue's travels around the world.

The manor houses a boutique hotel with a wonderful interior design, a wine cellar, a cigar room, a restaurant, and a library. Here, you can celebrate special anniversaries in a grand and elegant environment.
