The house is located on the shore of Lake Hino, the largest lake in Haanjamaa, in a grove. It is possible to ride a boat, go fishing and swim in the lake and go on a walking tour around Lake Hino. A sight of its own is the seven islets of the lake.

Drive from Võru to Misso (roads 2, E263 and E77) for approx. 49 km. After you have passed the small town just after the end of the settlement sign there is a sign of Kimalase Metsamaja showing to the left towards Lake Hino. Follow the signs and the distance from Misso to Vetevana Farm is approx. 2.5 km.
