Bogshoe hiking in Koitjärve bog

Come and enjoy being out and about in nature both in summer and in winter. We offer you the chance to use bogshoes to visit places which otherwise would be almost impossible to access!
Bogshoe hiking through Koitjärve bog gives you the opportunity to discover Koitjärve village and its mires, which are depicted in the work of the famous Estonian author A. H. Tammsaare. The writer spent many years at the nearby Oru farm. It is thought that the area inspired him in the penning of his greatest work, "Truth and Justice".
The hike is meant for at least 6 people, lasts from 5 to 6 hours, and includes basic bogshoe training, the services of a guide, bogshoes, and a packed lunch.
