Elistvere Animal Park

The animal park, which was opened in 1997, is located on the grounds of the former Elistvere park.

Native wild animals such as foxes, roe deer, a bear, lynxes, an elk, bison have settled here in conditions similar to those they experience in nature. Those interested may also visit the small rodents’ centre. The 2 km Elistvere study trail, which can be completed both in a wheelchair and with a children's stroller, introduces various plant species with the help of information boards. A boardwalk will take the visitors to a viewing platform by Lake Elistvere where you can admire the lake’s rich bird population.

There is an exhibition hall on the first floor of Elistvere Visitor Centre.

The Elistvere campfire site is located next to the animal park, where it is also possible to camp.
