Lõmala-Kaugatoma heritage route

Since 2021, the state road number 21108 between Lõmala and Kaugatoma has been marked and preserved as a gravel road characteristic of Estonia in the middle of the 20th century. The road's speed limit of 50 km per hour allows road users to take time off and safely get to know the road and the beautiful nature. The time on this path has stopped in the 1950s and 1970s. The gravel surfacing has been preserved, the road is narrow and winding, and there are also concrete kilometre posts and the majority of signposts there that have been preserved. You can find more information about the history of the road in the pavilion and on other roadside information boards.

The road can be dusty in summer and muddy in autumn and spring.
