Narva City Run

Narva City Run (was Energy run/Energiajooks), which has grown into the largest sports event in Ida-Virumaa in a short time, started in 2011. The aim of the running event, created at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture, Eesti Energia, the City of Narva and Spordiürituste Korraldamise Klubi, is to encourage people to engage in health sports and increase the importance of Ida-Virumaa in the Estonian cultural and sports landscape.

The program of Narva City Run includes 21,1 kilometer half marathon and 5 kilometer distance for runners and walkers. In co-operation with the Estonian Athletics Association, the Estonian half-marathon championships are traditionally held in Narva, which brings the best of Estonian long-distance runners to the border town.
