Pädaste Manor

The earlier history of the manor begins in the sixteenth century. In the end of the seventeenth century, an orchard was created in addition to the wooden mansion and other manor buildings. By the middle of the nineteenth century, the number of peasants had risen up to two hundred. The lawn in front of the main building is framed by two rows of imposing stone outbuildings.

Good to know: It is most likely that the stable and carriage shed were built first. The manor had its own windmill, lime kiln, and brickfield. Today, the mansion is occupied by the luxurious SPA hotel. Restaurant Alexander, which has been awarded several titles, offers the best food in the most central and honourable place of the manor house.
