Lake Valgejärv hiking trail showcases the natural sights and nature conservation area around the lake of the same name in the western part of Nissi municipality in Harju County. Information stands and boards show how the lake formed and what shape it has assumed and point out the different types of forests in the area. The trail is 6.5 km long and starts and ends at the State Forest Management Centre's recreational site on the shores of Lake Järveotsa.

Getting there

From the Tallinn-Pärnu highway, turn off onto the Ääsmäe-Haapsalu road (no. 9) and drive on to Ellamaa. Turn off to the right 500 metres before the Ellamaa bus stop. Follow the signs for around 5 km to Lake Järveotsa, which is where the Lake Valgejärv nature trail starts.
