Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships

The European Curling Championships are one of the most important Olympic Event Championships to be held in Estonia. Top curling players, including Olympic medallists from Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, and Scotland, the home of curling, will compete in the Tondiraba Ice Hall. The European Championships of groups A and B will take place at the same time. Both the Estonian women’s and men’s team will compete in the group B.

The European Championships are broadcasted to at least 20 million people around the world. 10 best women’s and men’s teams will compete in the group A and 10 women’s teams and 16 men’s team in the group B.

The defending champions are the Swedish men’s team (captain Niklas Edin) and Scottish women’s team (captain Eve Muirhead).
