Rüütli tänav-40a, Pärnu linn, Pärnu
The sub-theme of this exhibition is 'electricity', with which we mark the 300th anniversary of the birth of Pärnu-born G. W. Richmann - the first man in the world to study electricity, who sacrificed his life to satisfy human curiosity. Richmann was killed when struck by lightning in a laboratory at the Russian Academy of Science in St Petersburg. The exhibition showcases the electricity that sparks between men and women. It presents the works not only of Estonian artists, but also those from Germany, Sweden, Finland, Russia and the USA.
