See photos (14) Mändjala study trail goes through various stages of development of the dune system, reaches the picturesque sandy beach and meanders in a beautiful pine forest on the dunes. Along the trail there are seven information boards with detailed descriptions of the wildlife. By reading the information boards, you can find out how dunes are formed, how they become vegetated and reforested, as well as fascinating stories about the local heritage culture. Alongside the trail, you'll see pine trees shaped by the sea breeze, inviting you to take pictures and enjoy their beauty.
Follow the trail's signs and blue dots on trees.
The Mändjala study trail is located at the 11th km of the Kuressaare-Sääre road (sign "RMK Mändjala loodusmaja"). Turn left into the parking lot, the trail starts at the information board.
