The guesthouse on the second floor of Mooste Distillery offers cosy rooms with all of the mod cons. The rooms are named after master distillers who worked at the factory. There are six rooms in the guesthouse and one mini-suite.
The renovated historic distillery at Mooste Manor (1909) is home to the Estonian Photo Tourism Centre, which offers the use of a photo studio, photography courses and natures tours with a photographer. The distillery has a number of rooms that can be used for conferences, training courses, wedding and other events. Sauna and jacuzzi facilities are also available.
Turn left at the 43 km mark along the Tartu-Räpina road, into the village of Mooste. Follow the alley of oak trees to the main building of Mooste Manor and an intriguing crossroads. On your right-hand side you will see a sign for a dead end. Drive past the sign and you will see lovely green ponds on either side of the gravel road. Turn left just after the pond and drive 200 along the track, where you will see a sign for the distillery ('Viinavabrik'), which is the fancy castle-type building you will see in front of you. Entrance to the building is via the first door on the lake side.
What a lovely place! We were there for 4 days and enjoyed it really. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast wonderful and the staff was always very helpful. The hotel is situated in a wonderful park...
