The memorial park, which was established in 2012 for the Münnichs and Nolckens, estate owner in Luunja from Germany, is located in Luunja. The park is located in the former location of the family cemetery and chapel, where estate owner Count B. C. von Münnich, who died on 27 October 1767, is buried. The Count was a versatile man who served the Russian Empire upon the request of Peter I. Among other things, he was the leader in the establishment of Paldiski War Port and Riga Castle. He was also the Prime Minister of Russia for a brief time.
On 9 August 2013, a granite monument in four languages was erected in the park as a result of international cooperation from the Russian Federation, near the city of Vyborg.
