Narva cascades

Narva cascades are located on the territory of the Kreenholm manufactory, which has ceased their operations. The hydroelectric plant releases water from the turbines of its reservoir across the cascades —typically during during spring high water season or in other exceptional situations —which means the cascades are not visible year-round. They can only be admired when water is directed away from the turbines.

The best view of the cascades is from Kreenholm Island, where the beauty and power of the falls are especially striking. However, Kreenholm Island is located in a restricted area and can only be accessed as part of a Guided tour of Krenholm Manufactury.
