Saadjärve tänav 20, Äksi alevik, Tartu vald, Tartu maakond
The family-friendly Polar Bear Café, which offers a picturesque view, is located on the ground floor of the Ice Age Centre. The cafe is named after the second-largest animal in the centre – the polar bear Franz.
The cafe serves lunch buffet, a children’s menu with a large selection, and an à la carte menu. It is also possible to order catering (also for groups)!
The Polar Bear Café has an icy interior – just as the polar bears in our ever-warming climate like it. The cafe is decorated with photos of the Estonian nature in winter by Urmas Tartes.
In the summer season, we also open an outdoor terrace overlooking Lake Saadjärv.
