Controvento, the  oldest Italian restaurant in Tallinn, is located in the heart of the medieval Latin Quarter, between the craft workshops on the St Catherine’s Passage. Its doors were opened in 1994.
We offer traditional Italian cuisine with an exciting twist. Our regulars know to book a table for the weekend.

Best Italian in tallinn

I've visited Tallinn three times, and this is among the best restaurants in the city. It's cozy, warm, and the food is outstanding. The "truffle salsa" accompanying some meat dishes is top notch.
