Ristiisa Pub

Küüni tänav 7, Tartu linn, Tartu

Ristiisa is a cosy pub in the Old Town of Tartu. The pub’s interior is inspired by Al Capone and the mafia theme.

In 1933, Al Capone spent a short time with his escorts in Tartu. Above all, the trip was a holiday in Europe, part of which was also about getting to know Estonia and the major players here. He also visited the university and local entertainment establishments. This visit prompted the creation of the Ristiisa Pub and the introduction of Alphonso’s favourite dishes. Find out more about the history of the pub HERE.

Keep an eye on our website for music events and sports broadcasts in the pub.
