See photos (13) Kiidjärve Nature Centre is located in Kiidjärve-Kooraste recreation area on the banks of the picturesque Ahja River in Kiidjärve village. It seeks to guide visitors, young and old alike, to the beautiful scenery of the area so that the forest and nature itself will reveal their secrets to a keen observer.
The nature centre has information materials and information about Kiidjärve-Kooraste, other RMK recreation areas, and other various attractions.
In the immediate vicinity are famous celestial Taevaskoda sandstone outcrops, Kiidjärve Formica kingdom, and the picturesque Valgesoo bog.

Drive along Põlva–Reola highway from Tartu towards Põlva. 10 km before Põlva, turn left at Koorvere intersection towards Kiidjärve. Drive 4 km along the Akste–Häätaru road (road number 18138). 1 km after the Kiidjärve Park bus stop, there is a large parking lot to your left. This is the parking lot of RMK Kiidjärve Nature Centre / Information Point. The signposts lead to the building on the river side of which you will find the Kiidjärve Nature Centre.
