See photos (5) The 7km North Trail located on the island of Naissaare is also known as the military trail. It starts from the Haldja village and runs along the coast towards the northern tip of the island. From there, the trail turns back towards south along the western coast. The trail is dotted with several exciting military sights of Naissaare, such as Estonian battery No 5 and batteries 10A and 10B. The trail also features 10 information boards. It is marked with white-red-white colour markings on trees and signs for turning.
Nearby, there is the Naissaare camping area with campfire sights and volleyball court.
Camping area
Take a boat to Naissaare and come ashore at the harbour. Take towards north, move along the roads or the central road of Naissaare approximately 3 km. Having reached the Põhjaküla, turn left, move 500 m, then turn right. Walk another 1 km until you reach Haldja village. The trail starts there.
