LASKESPORDIBAASI, Uderna küla, Elva vald, Tartu maakond
The Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre is the perfect place for spending an active vacation, relaxing, and boosting your health. The Gods of the Earth Park in the Sports Centre is a great source of energy! The centre offers something for everybody – children can have fun on a playground and at the Häpi adventure trail, and older people can enjoy disc golf, health trails, the largest network of mobile orienteering trails in Estonia, different sports courts, etc. It is also possible to train in an outdoor gym in the pine forest and put your skills to the test under the guidance of an instructor in shooting, laser shooting, or archery. After a day full of sports, you can relax in a sauna and use a grill house. The centre is a popular location for organising birthdays and summer retreats.
When coming from Tartu, Valga, or Viljandi, turn off the highway towards the centre of Elva and then, turn off at the shopping centre into Puiestee Street. Cross the railway tracks and go straight on until the cemetery, where you just need to cover a kilometre of forest road across the Pulga creek and past Lake Vaikne. When coming from Võru, Põlva, or Otepää, turn off at Pangodi towards Elva. After crossing the Elva River, turn left three times, and after Lootuse and Vaikne Streets, you will find yourself on the right road. If you come to Elva by train or bus, come along Vaikne Street or Pargi and Puiestee Streets from the railway station.
