Built in 2007, this is the first and so far only Lutheran church built in Estonia since World War Two. It was designed by architects Martin Aunin and Erkki Ristoja.
Situated on the waterfront, the church was consecrated on 25 July 2007 and was erected in memory of all those who have lost their lives at sea.
In front of the church is a memorial stone to the victims of the Estonia ferry disaster, with each of their names inscribed.
