Stealthy beaver trip in Soomaa in the evening

Beavers shape the landscape around the rivers in Soomaa. Karukose region is a true paradise, where you can see and hear beavers going about their lives in the dusk. Bats fly above the water and wild animals come to drink by the river. If you drive quietly, you can always spot them during summer months.

At the beginning of our quiet trip, we are going to train the silent canoe riding technique of Native Americans that has a meditative effect in the outdoors in the evening.

The trip is going to start from Karukose and move upstream to Suuremurru rapids; according to a legend, the old bricks of the Viljandi castle came from there, and it used to be a hiding place for a pot of silver coins.

The trip takes place starting from 1 participant during summer; during other seasons, the minimum number of participants is 5.
